CNN reporter Drew Griffin and his crew saved a man in Texas from drowning inside his truck.

Mr. Griffin told CNN that there was no time to call 911 and they had to help the victim named Jerry Sumrall. “I want to thank these guys for saving my life. Thank you,” Mr. Sumrall told the reporter on CNN.

Mr. Sumrall was staying at a motel nearby and he accidentally drove into a ravine in Beaumont. Mr. Griffin and his camera crew pulled him out with a rope.
